Thank you to all of my family members and friends who have supported Lakeview Orchestra over the years! The orchestra is turning 10 years old, and I am honored to have been a violinist in this extraordinary ensemble since 2016. The orchestra is extremely meaningful to me and plays an enormous role in my life. This spring, I am proud to serve as the Committee Chair, Organizer, and Sponsor of Lakeview Orchestra's Violins of Hope concert on June 11. This concert is especially meaningful because it will showcase violins played by Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. These violins have been painstakingly restored and are now coming to Chicago for cultural exhibitions, performances, and community education with a message of hope, resistance, resilience, and unity. Lakeview Orchestra is partnering with Violins of Hope on June 11 for a very special concert that is sure to educate and inspire. Thank you all again for your support of Lakeview Orchestra! - Lexie

Through its highly-praised performances, the orchestra provides a vital service to its community, enriching the lives of audience members
As Lakeview Orchestra celebrates 10 years of artisitc excellence, we also look to prepare for the next 10 years by launching the Lakeview Orchestra Spring Challenge with a goal to raise $10,000. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping us achieve our 2023 priorities that include:

Upgrading our rehearsal space and continuing our residencey at the Athenaeum Center for Thought and Culture: offsetting our increased performance and rehearsal space rental fees.

Welcoming guest musicians and conductors: Showcasing Chicago's rich talent and elevating performances.

Paternering with other arts organizations by collaborating with others to offer rich and dynamic programming to a growing audience, like Violins of Hope.
